I have 25 years of experience as a professional educator and corporate sector writer and director. Although my initial areas of licensure are in K-12 second language and leadership, I have taught many other subjects, including Geography, Study Skills, Bible Studies, and ESL. As a published, professional writing I am also well versed in helping persons improve their written communication. My greatest areas of interest today are career development, leadership, and faith-based courses for secondary students, as I started my career as a high school teacher. But I have taught across the spectrum (PreK-post-secondary). I am seeking to transition away from the corporate sector to return to the joy of my teaching roots, so that I can work directly with students and families. I'm interested in serving as an in-person or virtual homeschool teacher and/or as a tutor to public and private school students seeking additional supports. I am a high-energy, engaged teacher who understands how to teach utilizing research-based teaching methodologies. I look forward to working with your students!
