Hello! My name is Savannah Crone, and I am a certified elementary and ESL teacher with three years of classroom experience. I have had the joy of teaching English as a Second Language to students in grades K-5, and I currently teach third grade in a full-time classroom role. I am certified in both Tennessee and Alabama, and I hold degrees in Bible & Theology and Elementary Education & ESL K-12.
My teaching style focuses on equipping students with the tools and strategies they need to succeed-not just in school, but any environment. I believe that when students understand how to use resources and apply strategies, they grow in confidence, capabilities and independence.
In my previous ESL role, I was recognized by my principal in front of the whole school for how I would go out of my way to build relationships with my students and continuously show how I cared for them. That moment reflected what I value most in teaching - connection and trust. Whether I am supporting early readers or helping students build academic skills across subject areas, I strive to meet each learner where they are and equip them for success in reaching their goals and achieving their dreams.
I look forward to partnering with you to facilitate learning that is meaningful, supportive, and successful!
