Hi, I am a teacher with a Master's Degree in Elementary Education. I taught 5th grade for 4 years and then was lucky enough to be home with my children. During that time I tutored students out of my home. It was a wonderful way to stay connected to the job I love and the joy of working with children. I love helping students gain confidence in themselves and so in addition to the academic assistance I provide I also make sure to get to know the them. I have a great deal of experience working closely with parents and the school as a tutor. I try to make sure that I follow along with the classroom while providing my own tips and tricks to making things easier for students to understand. I have 3 kids myself. My oldest is 22 and graduated from Boston College with a major in math and education, my middle son is 20 and a physics major at University of Illinois and my daughter is a senior in high school getting ready to go to college.
