Instructor for highly able youth ages 8-16 from US and abroad in individually-paced asynchronous course format. Establish positive, working teacher/student relationships in online environment. Design student-specific materials for meetings with students on Whiteboard for individual tutoring sessions. Provide extensive feedback and guidance on lab experiment design and lab report writing. Grade all required assignments. Meet with groups of students online to review lab and study skills. Units include chemistry of living things, cells, genetics and heredity, evolution, anatomy and physiology, plants, and ecology. This course is compatible with the SAT BIO I and II.
