Hello! I’m Victoria Lago, and I’m an enthusiastic and dedicated educator certified in both New Jersey and Tennessee, with a Master’s degree in the Art of Teaching. I hold certifications to teach Elementary K-6 and Students with Disabilities, which allows me to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all of my students.
For the past seven years, I have had the privilege of working as a 4th-grade teacher, where I’ve fostered a love of learning and developed meaningful relationships with my students. In addition to my experience in 4th grade, I’ve also worked with 5th-grade students and in a self-contained special education classroom, which has given me a deep understanding of diverse learning needs and the importance of individualized support.
I believe in creating a classroom where learning is not only effective but fun and engaging. I incorporate real-world experiences into my lessons to help students see the relevance of what they’re learning and to spark their curiosity. I also believe that building a strong relationship with each student is essential. I strive to be intuitive, compassionate, and patient, ensuring that every student feels valued, heard, and supported.
I am committed to providing a positive, inclusive, and enriching experience for every student I teach. My goal is to inspire a love of learning that extends beyond the classroom and helps each student reach their full potential. I hope to hear from you!
