I want to start off by saying that I feel genuinely honored to be submitting this application to you, and thank you for your time and thoughtful consideration. Coming from a family of teachers, this is something I have been passionate about for as long as I can remember. Some of my earliest memories are of helping my mom prepare for her kindergarten and first grade classes. Since then, I have never wavered from my passion of becoming a teacher and knew that I would do whatever it takes to become the best teacher that I can be.
My goal as a teacher is to create a learning environment for my students that is safe, positive and all inclusive. I meet every student with a whole-child approach and work to support and meet their
individual needs. I have great interpersonal skills, with communication at the forefront. I can
effectively communicate and coordinate with staff, students, parents, and caregivers. I have shown reliability and consistency throughout all positions I have held. I have also shown the ability to adapt to unforeseen changes, and handle difficult situations with understanding and grace.
I am a well-rounded educator with experience in teaching preschool-high school students, special needs students, multilingual students, being a school director, and much more. I have a Bachelors Degree in Education, a Masters of Science Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, an Elementary Endorsement, and an ELL Endorsement. In addition, I have a Washington State Teaching Certificate, GLAD Certificate, Issues of Abuse and Neglect Certificate, CPR and First Aid Certificate, and others.
My mission is to inspire and educate each student to prepare them to be a contributing member of our ever-changing society. I have made it a priority to be involved in a positive way with the community around me. I would love to have the opportunity to meet and discuss further how well we can suit each other.
