Hello, My name is Amanda Martinez!

With seven years of experience in education, encompassing teaching and assisting students from pre-K through 4th grade across all subjects, I am eager to bring my passion for hands-on, experiential learning to your home or community.

In my teaching philosophy, I firmly believe that learning is most impactful when rooted in real-life experiences. I strive to create an engaging and dynamic classroom environment where students can explore, discover, and apply their knowledge in practical contexts. I am dedicated to fostering a love for learning and nurturing the individual growth of each student.

Beyond the classroom, my personal life centers around my family. My husband and I have been delighted to witness the growth and development of our daughter, born in August of 2023. We also share our home with two lively German short-haired pointers, who keep us active and adventurous with their love for play and swimming.

While I have valued my time working within an ISD, I am seeking a new professional opportunity that aligns with my commitment to education while allowing me to prioritize quality time with my family. I am excited about the prospect of working somewhere where I can contribute to the holistic development of young learners while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
