Dear Hiring Manager,

Throughout my college experience, I believed the world of public education was perfect for my teaching skills. I wanted to make a difference in the lives of students who needed me; however, in the past three years, I have realized that the public education system works very strongly against teachers and their ability to support children. The rigidity and lack of academic freedom that is imposed upon students and teachers is extremely degrading and frustrating. It is because of these things that I have decided my third year of public education is to be my last. I grew up in a homeschool family, and I have always loved the idea of being a homeschool teacher! This year I hope to make my dream come true and find a great group of students to work with and grow with.

I am seeking a job where my educational philosophy can be fulfilled. I believe that all children are unique and special and require a diverse and vitalizing educational experience where they can learn academically, socially, and emotionally. I desire to create a learning environment where students feel engaged enough to meet their full potential. My students will be encouraged to express themselves through intellectual discussions, projects, and assignments that I create with my background in curriculum and instruction. I believe it is my responsibility to build up my community by providing consistency, excitement, and diligence to my job in the hopes of inspiring my students to do great things.
