As an educator with over 15 years of experience, I am passionate about helping students, their families, and other professionals determine needs and recommend/implement data-driven strategies to increase performance in and out of the classroom. Additionally, I am a coordinator and case manager for students, their service providers, and the professionals who support me. Throughout my career, I have specialized in creating customized learning plans targeting the various needs of students from as early as Transitional Kindergarten up through 8th grade.
My experience as an Education Specialist and Academic/Executive Functioning Coach has allowed me to support students in finding success despite their learning differences. As the intervention coordinator, I facilitate our yearly professional development workshops for Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) and the expectations around implementing a Student Success Progress Team (SSPT) process. Concurrently, I led the effort to align a Waldorf curriculum with Common Core standards by developing trimester expectations for grades 1 through 4.
As a leadership goal, I strive to facilitate experiences that foster efficiency through data-proven methods while providing opportunities for collaboration and input.
