Hi! My name is Allison. I am thrilled you are viewing my profile. Passionate and driven to serve others, I have taught 15 years of middle and high school Math. I have taught and am skilled in Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, Financial Math, Precalculus and Statistics at the high school level. I have also taught Math 7 and Math 8. I also speak Spanish and have aided in Spanish classes and interpretation. I am a certified Texas teacher 4 - 12 and have additional certificates in Special Education and Teaching English as a Second Language.

I personally am a lifelong learner and love learning about all subjects. This enthusiasm carries over into my students and they are able to grow a love for learning as well. I believe in a student-centered and whole student approach. Social-emotional needs and feeling safe is important before a student can learn and excel. I also believe material should be real-world and relevant to the student's interests.
