Teaching has always been more than a career for me — it’s a calling. I love helping students grow in confidence, curiosity, and understanding. With a strong background in mathematics education and a genuine passion for nurturing each child’s unique potential, I would be honored to partner with you in supporting your children’s learning.
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and a Master’s Degree in Educational Technology. I’m a certified teacher with over four years of classroom experience, where I’ve taught a range of math courses including Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2/Trigonometry, and AP Statistics. Beyond the classroom, I’ve tutored K–12 students virtually in all subjects, taught at the college level, and designed math curriculum for an educational software company. These experiences have shaped my teaching philosophy — one centered on building understanding, making learning meaningful through real-world connections, and creating an encouraging environment where students feel seen and supported.
In my work, I focus on meeting each student where they are. I use differentiated strategies, technology, and creative activities with student interests in mind to make lessons engaging and accessible. I also believe communication and collaboration with parents are key to every child’s success. In my teaching experience, I was proud to help my students achieve the highest county passing rates on the Math 7 and Math 8 state assessments and to be recognized by the student council during a long-term substitute placement as “Teacher of the Year.”
I would love the opportunity to bring my experience, enthusiasm, and care to a new role. Thank you for your consideration!
