Teaching is work from the heart! I truly enjoy working with elementary age students and seeing them grow and find success. I have been teaching for nine years. I worked at a public charter school in a low socioeconomic community for fours years, in grades 2 and 3. The past five years I have been in a public school in a suburban community. I have my masters degree in reading and have co-taught with a special educator for six years. Working with such a diverse population of students has brought a plethora of experience with the ever changing needs of the students in front of me. I truly believe a quality education consists of academics, character education, and social emotional work. I look forward to working with you and your child!
