Hi my name is Syorsha and I am excited to start this learning journey with you!

As an experienced teacher/tutor of 6 years, I have taught learners from Kindergarten to 8th grade in various subjects. I have had the pleasure of teaching in Virginia, Texas, Maryland, and Washington DC.

What sets my sessions apart is my background in Psychology from my Bachelors Degree, allowing me to have worked with students varying from honors levels to having IEP requirements. This has allowed me to successfully meet students where they are, and plan an appropriate pace for them. Additionally, I make sure to personalize each session to the learner by using interactive slides, fun themes, and classroom callbacks. I also set goals at the beginning of each session and encourage learners' confidence by keeping the sessions engaging. Learning online can be just as fun and effective as in-person sessions!

When I'm not teaching, you can find me unleashing my creativity as an artist. I love drawing and painting, as well as spending time in nature and taking my puppy on walks. As an author, I also have a great love for simple yet complex things, which helps me break down complex concepts into simpler parts for my learners. All of these interests greatly influence my teaching style, allowing me to bring a sense of creativity and simplicity to my sessions. I can't wait to share my passions and help your learner have fun while learning!
