I have been teaching for over 30 years and providing private tutoring sessions for about 15 years. Given that I have worked in the virtual education world since 2014, I have experience providing virtual support to students.

My goal as a tutor is a simple one - to make myself obsolete. I strive to help students gain a better understanding of the material being covered in their math classes, as this will lead to greater academic success. Connected to that success is the improved self-confidence and self-esteem of those students. The hope is that the increase in skills and self-confidence gained by the students during the tutoring sessions will lead to a decrease in the need for my support, making my services obsolete.
