I am a former Massachusetts elementary teacher. I spent a total of 12 years working in the school system. I now work as a tutor and have worked with students of various ages ranging from 5-11 years old. Everything from phonics, reading, writing, grammar, study skills, math, science and more!
What I love most about teaching/tutoring is the chance to work with students, learn their interests, learning styles and strengths, and tailor my lessons/activities to meet their diverse needs.
My qualifications include:
Bachelor's degree in Elementary and Early Childhood
Masters degree as a Reading Specialist
Licensed elementary teacher in the state of Massachusetts
Experience teaching 1st and 3rd grade
