• Furnish individualized instruction to students who need additional instruction.
• Teach phonological and phonemic awareness to individual students.
• Teach students to decode words, analyze word parts, recognize sound-spelling patterns, memorize sight words, practice spelling, and develop fluency in guided reading.
• Educate first grade students to learn letters, sounds, blend “word families” & read.
• Impart a structured approach to reading instruction through explicit routines.
• Guide reading instruction to process texts leveled on a gradient of difficulty.
• Analyze short assessments & observations to drive instruction and monitor student progress.
• Foster confidence, interpersonal development, personal responsibility, and leadership.
• Teach Spanish language with lesson rich in sounds, letters, videos, songs, and books.
• Integrate subject areas related to the Spanish language: vocabulary, pronunciation, spelling, grammar, culture, and geography.
