Integral to my pedagogy is Vygotsky’s Zone of Proximal Development. My curricula taught is achievable yet still challenging. I set high expectations for my students and promote a growth mindset, where mistakes are opportunities for learning.
My aspiration is to leave my students with a positive outlook on learning and the belief that ability can change as a result of practice and perseverance. I want students to feel that they had a dedicated and kind teacher that evolved to meet their needs and had their best interests at heart.
